Quick Set-Up:
- Take control of the free safety and hot route him to blitz as you’re moving him down into the box. He should line up about 2-3 yards off the line of scrimmage and across from the center.
- While moving the free safety down the Box call Pressman coverage, which is optional.
- What’s the ball a snap watch to see what the running back does if he goes out on a pass route you will need to manually cover him. If he stays in the pass block, you will want to rush him manually.

- The pressure is designed to come from the left end and right end.
- Keep in mind there is a six-man pass rush, which means only five defenders will be in man coverage.
- If your opponent has man-press beaters, you must be very careful when running this defense. You will need to mix it in with other defenses from the Nickel Double Mug that look the same.
