For this Madden Tips video breakdown, we show a pass route combo called Seam/Delay TE Fade. This route combo is very effective against zone coverages. In the video, we show how it works against both Cover 2 and Cover 3 zone coverages.
In the image the TE1 has been routes on the delay fade while the TE2 has been hot routed on a streak.
The TE2 clears out the linebacker playing a hook zones, while the running back forces the curl/flat defender to cover him.
The TE1 is now wide open down the right seam for 12-yard pass completion.
