In this Madden 21 Blitz Tips breakdown, we show how to get Triple Threat Pressure. We get double edge pressure from two defenders. One of those defenders has an X-Factor with Elite Edge Rush ability. The other defender that gets pressure is the one we are going to control.
For those of you who play in Madden online connect franchise, this setup requires no manual movement. It also just requires just two pre-snap adjustment to get the Triple Threat Pressure.
One last thing, we are going to make sub on the Browns defensive depth that replaces a linebacker with a safety. This substitution helps give us more speed and higher change of direction rating, thus allowing us to get a round an offensive lineman quicker and go after the quarterback.
Triple Threat Pressure Breakdown
The defense we call to get Triple Threat Pressure is the Nickel 2-4-5 Double A Gap – Mid Blitz.
There are two pre-snap adjustment that needs to made is to slant the defensive line to the right.
Second pre-snap adjustment is to take control of the linebacker who lines up in the gap between the center and left guard. While in control of him, hold the right trigger (R2).
Madden Tip: you can sub in the safety at that linebacker spot. He is the number two linebacker on the depth chart. Watch the video for a better explanation of how to make that sub.
Once the ball is snapped, hold down the right trigger (R2) move defender towards left. There should be a good size gap between the left tackle and left guard.
While still in control of the defender, go straight after quarterback. If everything is done right, look to get Triple Threat Pressure.
The quarterback is sacked for a loss be several defenders.
