Coaching Points:
- Effective play against several pass coverages found in the game.
- Against man coverage, watch for the split end once he breaks towards the middle as he will often be open.
- Against Cover 2 man and zone coverages, look for the flanker as he breaks towards the post.
- Against Cover 3 and Cover 4 coverages, the flankers deep post route will lift the coverage over the top allowing the split end to get open underneath on dig route.
- Look for the tight end on the drag route if a blitz is called.
- If no receiver is open deep, look to dump the ball off to the runningback, who runs a swing route to the right.
