Gun Stack Y Off Wk – Bench Switch sends 5 receivers out on pass routes. The plays primary receiver is the X receiver (square if playing on the PS4).

He runs a backwards C route which is what we like to call it in the Madden Community this particular route is very effective against bump-and-run man coverage.

When we make this throw what we like to do is wait until he breaks to the inside. We then throw the ball hard right by pressing on the left stick to the right. By doing this, it leads the receiver to the inside. Thus, preventing the defender, that’s covering him from making a break on the ball.

In the image above you can see that the defenders close but we’re able to thread the ball in and make the catch I want two things you want to watch out for.

Final Thoughts

The Gun Stack Y Off Wk – Bench Switch is a simple play to run to beat Bump-n-Man coverage. Doesn’t require any hot routing as the plays primary receiver’s pass route is effective against that type of pass coverage.
