Quick Set-Up:
- Adjust Coach Adjustments Zone Drops – Hooks to 0 Yards.
- Move MLB inside of the LE and 1 Yard Off the Line of Scrimmage.
- Hot Route MLB into a Mid Read.
- Base Align (optional).
- Spread Defensive Line.
- Press Coverage (optional).
- QB Contain (optional).
Coaching Points:
- The pressure is designed to come from the blitzing middle linebacker and left outside linebacker.
- There are some coverage issues, particularly since the running back has one of the safeties covering him in man coverage. Often that safety has to come across the field to cover him unless we manually move him closer to the running back before the snap.
- If you have a superstar with Edge Threat Elite ability, have him line up at the right outside linebacker position. This will give the setup another edge rusher from the left side of the offensive line.
