The 3-4 Over – Sting Pinch Zone has been one of our favorite defenses to set up to bring pressure on the quarterback over the year. For this Madden Plays breakdown, we want to show how to bring A-Gap pressure from the right inside linebacker.

Play Breakdown:
The 3-4 Over – Sting Pinch Zone has two defenders that are playing too deep coverage in and it also has three Defenders that are playing Zone coverage underneath. There are six defenders that rush the quarterback
Press the D-Pad left, then press the right stick up to slant the defensive line out.
By doing this it forces the center to now block the nose tackle.
This allows the right inside linebacker to shoot through the air gap between the center and the Right Guard.
In the image above you can see that the right inside linebacker is now shooting through the Gap and going after the quarterback.
The right inside linebacker sacks the quarterback for a loss.
